🍽️ Chole Bhature

Hamesha foodie, dil ko satisfy kar deti hai 😋. Chole Bhature is a delicious breakfast or lunch dish. The combination of spicy and tangy chole and fluffy, garam-garam bhature is simply irresistible.



🥘 Chole (Chickpea Curry) Ingredients:

  • One cup of overnight-soaked kabuli chana
  • Two medium pyaz, chopped finely
  • Two tamatars (puree)
  • Two to three green chilies (slit)
  • One tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
  • One teaspoon of jeera
  • Two tablespoons of oil or ghee
  • One teaspoon of haldi powder
  • Two teaspoons of dhania powder
  • One teaspoon of garam masala
  • One teaspoon of red chili powder
  • One teaspoon of amchur powder (for a tangy flavor)
  • Namak swad anusar


For Bhature:

  • Two cups of maida
  • Two tablespoons of sooji (semolina)
  • Half a cup of dahi (curd)
  • One teaspoon of baking soda
  • \One teaspoon of namak
  • Paani (as needed for kneading)
  • Tel (for deep-frying)


Step 1:  Chole banane ka tareeka

  1. Chole ko namak aur thoda chai patti (cloth me bandhi hui) was soaked in a pressure cooker for five to six days before boiling; the color and taste didn't change.
  2. Jeera daal kar tadka lagao, kadhai me tel garam karo.
  3. Pyaz, daal kar golden brown hone tak bhuno adrak-lehsun paste.
  4. Ab tamatar puree, mirch aur masale daal kar bhuno jab tak tel na chhod de.
  5. Isme boiled chole and mixed it with ache. Let the pani dal simmer for 15 minutes.


Step 2:  Bhature banane ka tareeka

  1. Baking soda, namak, sooji, maida, and dahi daal kar dough bana lo ek bowl me.
  2. Thoda tel lagakar 3-4 ghante ke liye cover karke rakh do.
  3. The remaining dough should be formed into medium-sized balls, either banao or gol bhature bel lo.
  4. I got golden and fluffy hone tak fry karo from Garam.
